Ford has launched their latest social media program which I am happy to be a part of called #FiestaAsk on FordVehicles.com.

Visitors to the site can ask any questions that they may have about the Ford Fiesta and they are answered by a group of drivers including me via Twitter. We all know how much I love Twitter and am loving this latest campaign.

Can’t make it to hang with all of us in LA for the party. You can still watch it on Current.

Current will bring you clips from the Fiesta Movement every night on Still Up, as well as interviews with some of the lucky people involved, and probably even take this baby for a spin.

The Fiesta Movement Celebration (and sneak peak of the new Ford Fiesta)

On December 1st everyone can join the Movement and get a sneak peak of the 2011 Ford Fiesta. Be the first to see it before everyone else and join in one of the biggest tweetups ever. I will be there along with all the other awesome agents. Let’s party!

Fiesta Movement and Rockstar Party

The weekend of X-Games is always the craziest for me. Non-stop partying every single night. This year was no exception. I had the pleasure of going to a Fiesta Movement party with fellow Ford Fiesta agents. Most of the agent I had not seen in months so it was a wonderful reunion. Party included booze, Rockstar girls, performances by N.E.R.D. and a ton of Ford Fiestas in the parking lot. Most of the time we spent talking about camera gear like geeks and figuring out who had the most mileage.

I have finally finished editing my video for this month’s Fiesta Movement mission and will have it uploaded soon enough to show everyone. Thought I would drop some teaser photos. Video includes me shooting photographs of the Ford Fiesta against some amazing street and graffiti art in the streets of downtown Los Angeles. I only dared to go during the daytime. HDR photos only for this shoot.

Ford Fiesta Movement Theme Style and Design

The Ford Fiesta Movement theme for the month of July is Style/Design and the agents have selected their missions. My current Ford Fiesta Movement mission for this month is titled “Cream of the Krylon: West Coast Edition”.

About my Fiesta Movement Mission:

The city you live in may just seem like concrete and asphalt but to your local street artists, it’s a gigantic canvas. From wall murals and throw-ups, to tags and wheat-pastes, find the best graffiti that’s arting up the streets and share it with the rest of us. Jail time not included.

You can plan on me making my way into the more colorful areas of downtown Los Angeles. Perfect for me, because you know how much I love taking photos. I will post my video as soon as I finish.

Waking up in the morning and going to your car is never fun, especially when I haven’t reached Coffee Bean for my daily fill up. Getting to the Fiesta and seeing a cool note however, tends to make you smile. Thanks my friend. You just scored yourself a spot on RoadHero. Hopefully he noticed the giant FiestaMovement.com sticker on the back so he can maybe try out the “ride and drive”?

Fiesta Movement Mission Selected

I finally have my first Fiesta Movement mission and I could not be more excited about it. The theme for all 100 agents for the month of May is “Travel”. My personal mission is titled, “Lonely Planet Road Test: California”.

According to the Fiesta Movement site I will be making a video that revolves around this description:

Starting just outside of San Diego, Stay at Hotel Del Coronado, a National Historic Landmark hosting US Presidents, celebs from Babe Ruth to Brad Pitt and the Prince of Wales. Visit the International Surfing Museum in Huntington Beach, now legally trademarked “Surf City USA” Dine at Walt’s Wharf, everybody’s favorite place for fresh fish.

So expect me very soon to be staying in San Diego and driving along the coast of Southern California! Until then I will be mapping out my driving. Gears are spinning in my head. Stay tuned for more soon…

What is #FiestaMovement?

What is this #FiestaMovement that I keep seeing everywhere?

As many of you who follow me on Twitter have noticed, I have been using the hashtag “FiestaMovement” quite a bit. Hashtags are a community-driven convention for adding additional context and metadata to your tweets. They’re like tags on Flickr, only added inline to your post. You create a hashtag simply by prefixing a word with a hash symbol: #hashtag.

My use of #fiestamovement tag allows relevant “Fiesta Movement” tweets to display in the live feed on the Ford Fiesta Movement website as well as on my Fiesta Movement profile page.

Not only do my tweets containing #fiestamovement show up in the live feed on Ford’s site, but the other selected 99 other agents in the Fiesta Movement show up as well.

Fiesta Movement Training Sunday 4/19 and Monday 4/20

This was one amazing experience. The other agents involved (I am 1 of 100 who have been given a Ford Fiesta) are all very talented.
